How to Request Account Deletion

Sms2Pdf currently supports account deletion requests by email.

Please send an email with the following details:

• Subject: Sms2Pdf Account Deletion Request
• The email address used to sign in to Sms2Pdf
• Your name, if available in the app
• A clear statement that you want your Sms2Pdf account and associated app data deleted

For security, please send the request from the same email address that you used to sign in to Sms2Pdf whenever possible. We may ask for additional information only if needed to verify the request.

Deletion Timeline

We normally process verified account deletion requests within 30 days.

• Your app account data will be deleted or anonymized from active systems where applicable.
• Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.
• Data in backups, if any, may remain until backup rotation is completed.

What Data Will Be Deleted

After verifying your request, we will delete or anonymize account-related data stored by Sms2Pdf, including where applicable:

• Your Firebase account or app user record
• Your name, email address, profile photo URL, and app user ID
• App profile metadata linked to your account
• Trial, access, and subscription entitlement metadata stored in the app database
• Referral code and referral-related metadata linked to your account
• SMS, receipt, invoice, URL, or PDF metadata linked to your account, if stored in Firebase

What Data Is Not Deleted Automatically

Sms2Pdf may create PDF files on your device or save generated PDFs to your own Google Drive account when you use Google Drive integration. These files are controlled by you and are not automatically deleted when your Sms2Pdf account is deleted.

To remove those files, please delete them manually from:

• Your device storage or downloads folder
• Your Google Drive account, including any folder named Sms2Pdf

Subscriptions

Deleting your Sms2Pdf account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To cancel a subscription, open the Google Play Store and go to:

Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

From there, select the Sms2Pdf subscription and cancel it. Billing records may be retained by Google Play or payment providers according to their own policies and legal requirements.

Local Device Data

Some data may be stored locally on your device, such as app preferences, cached receipt entries, generated PDF files, imported images, and settings.

You can remove local device data by:

• Uninstalling Sms2Pdf
• Clearing Sms2Pdf app storage from your device settings
• Manually deleting PDF files or images saved on your device

Third-Party Services

Sms2Pdf uses third-party services such as Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat to provide account, storage, and subscription features.

Data stored in your own third-party accounts, such as Google Drive files, Gmail messages, or Google Play billing records, remains under the control of those services and may need to be managed directly through those accounts.
