This Privacy Policy explains how Sms2Pdf ("we", "us", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Sms2Pdf mobile application and related services.

1. App Purpose

Sms2Pdf helps users convert receipt, invoice, and payment links into PDF files and save them to Google Drive. The App may also let users import receipt-related text, links, images, or forwarded SMS content for PDF generation and organization.

2. Information We Collect or Process

Depending on the features you use, the App may process the following information:

• Account information: name, email address, profile photo URL, and user ID when you sign in using Google, Apple, or Firebase Authentication.
• Receipt and SMS-related content: SMS text, sender information, timestamps, receipt links, invoice links, payment links, and detected URLs that you manually share, paste, import, forward, or process through the App.
• Images and files: receipt images or document images you select from your device or capture with the camera.
• Generated PDFs: PDF files created from receipt links, SMS content, emails, or images.
• Subscription information: purchase status, product ID, entitlement status, expiration date, and related billing metadata handled through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat.
• Local app preferences: selected language, permission status, disclaimer acceptance, saved settings, queued receipt items, and app configuration values.
• Referral information: referral codes, referral usage, share count, and related account metadata if you use referral features.

3. SMS Content and Permissions

The current Android implementation of Sms2Pdf does not request direct SMS inbox permissions such as READ_SMS or RECEIVE_SMS. The App does not read your SMS inbox in the background.

Sms2Pdf processes SMS or receipt content only when you manually share, forward, paste, import, or otherwise provide that content to the App. This content may be used to detect receipt or invoice links, generate PDFs, save items locally, upload generated PDFs to your Google Drive, or store relevant app metadata in Firebase for app functionality.

4. Permissions Used

The App may request or use the following permissions:

• Internet access: required for sign-in, Firebase services, subscription verification, PDF generation, and cloud features.
• Camera: used when you choose to capture receipt or document images.
• Photos / media access: used when you choose images from your device to convert into PDFs.
• Storage access: used to create, save, read, or manage PDF files and receipt files on supported Android versions.
• Billing: used for Google Play subscriptions and in-app purchases.

You can revoke optional permissions at any time from your device settings. Some features may not work if required permissions are disabled.

5. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide and improve App functionality, including:

• Signing users in and managing user accounts.
• Detecting receipt, invoice, payment, and transaction links.
• Generating PDF files from receipt links, messages, emails, or images.
• Saving generated PDFs to Google Drive when you use Drive integration.
• Managing subscriptions, trials, entitlements, and purchase access.
• Providing referral and sharing features.
• Saving local preferences and app settings.
• Maintaining security, preventing abuse, and debugging app issues.
• Complying with legal obligations where required.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Google Drive and Google API Use

When you sign in with Google and grant Drive access, Sms2Pdf uses Google Drive permissions to create or access an app folder named Sms2Pdf and save generated PDF files to your Google Drive. Google access tokens are used only for the Drive-related operation requested by the user.

Some PDF generation may be performed by a Firebase Cloud Function. In that case, the receipt URL and Google access token may be sent to the Cloud Function so it can generate a PDF and save it to your Google Drive. Temporary files used for PDF generation are deleted after the operation completes.

Sms2Pdf's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Third-Party Services

Sms2Pdf uses third-party services to provide core functionality:

• Firebase Authentication: user sign-in and account identity.
• Cloud Firestore: user records, subscription metadata, referral data, and app data.
• Firebase Cloud Functions: server-side PDF generation and Google Drive upload support.
• Google Sign-In and Google Drive API: account login and saving PDFs to Google Drive.
• Google Play Billing: in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• RevenueCat: subscription status, entitlement management, and purchase syncing.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing and tracked through RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your credit card number or full payment details. We may receive purchase status, product identifiers, entitlement status, expiration dates, and related subscription metadata.

Deleting your Sms2Pdf account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To cancel a subscription, open the Google Play Store and go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

9. Data Storage and Retention

Some data is stored locally on your device, such as preferences, recently shared receipt text, generated file references, and app settings. Some account, subscription, referral, and receipt metadata may be stored in Firebase.

PDFs saved to Google Drive are stored in your own Google Drive account and remain under your control. You can delete those files directly from Google Drive.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide App features, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms. After the applicable period, data is deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Sms2Pdf account and associated app data by emailing: psayantan08@gmail.com

Please include:

• The email address used to sign in to Sms2Pdf.
• Your name, if available in the App.
• A clear statement that you want your account and associated app data deleted.

We normally process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Account deletion does not automatically delete files already saved in your Google Drive or files stored locally on your device. You can delete those files manually from Google Drive or your device storage.

11. Local Device Data

Local data may include app preferences, cached receipt entries, generated PDF files, imported images, and settings. You can remove local data by uninstalling Sms2Pdf, clearing the App's storage from your device settings, or manually deleting saved files.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent for optional permissions.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections where supported by our service providers and access controls for backend systems. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Links to Other Websites

Receipt or invoice links processed by the App may open third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
